Paul A. Kaufman is an accomplished Emmy Award winning director and producer. Kaufman produced and made his directorial debut on the movie "Run the Wild Fields" for Showtime, which received critical acclaim and won Kaufman two Emmy Award s for "Outstanding Direction" and "Outstanding Children's Special". The dramatic story followed a North Carolina woman and her daughter who take in a mysterious drifter to work their farm while the woman's husband is missing in action during WWII. The movie stars Joanne Whalley ('Scandal'), Sean Patrick Flanery ('Powder') and Alexa Vega ('Spy Kids'). Kaufman produced and also showed his versatility as a director with the CBS comedy movie "Surviving Gilligan's Island." It delivered the network's best Sunday night movie performance in three years.
